I was checking out the couture spring/ summer 2012 collections, when I seemed to notice one thing only.. Beautiful white LACE dresses!! I've been lusting after one ever since I saw this cute white lace dress by Minna Hepburn in the Finnish ELLE last month and now the only thing I can think of is a beautiful white lace dress, worn a warm summer night with red lipstick and the perfect tan... Summer please come back SOON!!

I haven't been up to much this week, apart from working I've just been chilling under my warm blanket.. Dreaming about far away islands... :D This winter I haven't been anywhere abroad, except Paris but that's practically my second hometown  :), and I would really really want to go somewhere far away. I feel so pale that I can soon camouflage myself in the snow, hehe.. I either have to buy some tanning lotion and soon or go to a tanning salon. But I don't really feel like doing either one.. I want the sun!!

Have a good evening! <3

Flower power

Me and Papu :)
Matching in our colorful outfits :)

The party animals, hihii..
I wore a kimono from H&M, dress from Whyred, shoes from Bianco and a leather bag and jewellery made by me!! :)

Aaah what a day! Yesterday we had a party with my friends at work. A few months ago we won 100 euros at a costume party, for the best costumes. :) We had to spend the gift card in the shopping mall Forum, in the middle of Helsinki (where I work), so we decided to spend it on alcohol and snacks. :D At the party yesterday we had so much wine, cheese, pizza, chips, candy etc... Ooh it was so good. Some went home earlier, but me and two other party animals stayed. ;) We decided to go to Tavastia, where we partied until the music stopped.

This morning when I woke up I was feeling really good (thank God), because I had to wake up early and go to work. The day went by perfectly until I came home. Now I'm so tired that I haven't done anything except watched the newest episode of Gossip Girl (I'm a total addict) and lay in bed... :)

I hate goodbyes

At K's goodbye party on Friday, the theme was red, white & blue! Everyone looked so great in the colors! :D
A bit later J's pants broke!!! :DD
Hahaaaaaaa :DD
At the club K wore the t-shirt we gave her!!
I wore a shirt I bought in Paris a few years ago, guess bag, my blue leather earrings, Versace for H&M ring, red Lumene lipstick, Cheap monday jeans & red Bianco heels :)

Yesterday I was so sad, because I had to say goodbye to the wonderful Katja, who moved to Aussi land.. :( Me, J & K met for the last time (for now..) before she went. We've been hanging out a lot the last few weeks, so it's gonna be a bit strange that she's gone, but you have to stay positive. This means me and J have more time to do our final thesis, when we're not out having fun with K all the time! :)

I've actually written a bit on my thesis today. But it didn't start that good. This morning I had to wake up early, to do this thing for my old workplace. It's a PR-agency and I was one of the models to show journalists the new Veet products. My legs are in no summer condition, white and ugly, but it was still fun. :D When I came home I started writing on my thesis, but I was so tired (and the subject was so boring.. haha) that I fell asleep right away. I woke up five minutes before I had my appointment to my chiropractor.. I hate it when I'm always late!!!! Fortunately he could see me 15 minutes later, so I just ran to the tram the fastest I could, still half asleep..

The reason why I'm going to a chiropractor, is because my spine was bended forward and my posture was really bad. I've also had other problems that probably was caused by this annoying spine!! The first time I went, the chiropractor said I had the back of an old veteran.. :o But I'm happy I noticed it in time. Or actually it's thanks to K that I went there in the first place, because she had the same problem. So thank you!! :)

The most amazing weekend ever

Aaah, I don't know where to begin. I've done sooo much this weekend!!! It's been almost too eventful, but also soo much fun with my lovely friends! :D

On Friday our friend K had her going away party, because she's going to Australia on Wednesday.. I'm really sad about it. :'( The theme for the party was the colours of Russia (she's Russian) and Australia, so everyone had to be dressed in red, white and blue. At K's place a lot happened, even J's pants broke, haha.... :D

After we woke up on Saturday (some feeling better than others ;D), me and J went to my parents place to bake a chocolate cheese cake. We had to do it away from J's apartment so that her boyfriend wouldn't notice, because it was his birthday cake! When the cake was done we headed back to Helsinki and then straight to Lohja, to our friend's house. OMG, the house was amazing! A huge mansion, decorated so well that it wasn't the slightest scary (and I get scared pretty easily..). We (or actually the guys) made dinner while the girls walked around in this amazing house. We decided to make a scary movie, I can't wait to see the end result and I'll post it for everyone too see. :D K was the ghost and my boyfriend her creepy helper.. We all got to decide how we wanted to be killed, I decided to be strangled to death.. hehee..

In the morning we ate a delicious breakfast, congratulated the birthday boy and went horse riding. I'm really bad, have tried it once I think and I was scared to death I would fall. But thankfully I didn't and it was a great experience. And the horses were the cutest ever. My horse was named Fjalar. :)

I could have stayed longer in this wonderful mansion, but we had to hurry to Helsinki to throw a surprise party for M. After the party and a chocolate cake in our stomachs we went bowling! :) I couldn't stay long after the bowling was done, because I had to go and vote!!! I was there a few minutes before 8 pm (late as usual, but I still made it!), the place was empty and I was the last one to vote there.

Now we're back at my parents place, to give back the car. It's been a wonderful weekend with my crazy, lovely friends. <3 I just can't believe we've done all this in just one weekend! :D

Bisous

Hihi, a painting French Vogue inspired me to make :)

Oooh, it's been a hectic weekend! I've had lots of work and silver courses, but thankfully I've also had some time to meet my crazy friends. :D On Friday me, J and K met. We ate and drank some wine and they forced me to watch the most disgusting clip ever, haha.. And on Saturday we met again (and somehow I ended up watching the clip again!?!) and later we went out with the girls to Aussi Bar. It's a pretty small bar, but in wintertime it's one of my favorite places to go out to (mostly because all the clubs suck.. haha).

DIY clutch

I bought this cool shirt in Kappahl yesterday.
Hey!

Lately I've been feeling really inspired and creative. :) So yesterday I finished another project of mine, a yellow suede clutch. It's also made of leather I bought when I was in Paris. It took some time to make it, but I'm really happy with the end result. Now I have a unique bag made by myself and no one else in the whole world has the same one! :)

Blue suede earrings

I've been feeling really creative this year. I made myself a little inspiration corner and there I've created a few things already. :) I made a small painting, these blue leather earrings and my next project is a yellow leather bag. I bought the leather pieces in Paris.

This weekend was great! We got back from my parents place this morning. We did a lot of fun stuff in two days, like for example went skiing!

Me and my sister were supposed to watch a movie tonight, but we ended up making dinner and watching some series instead. And now it's time to go to bed soooon!

Lucky elephant

First you warm up tin on the stove
Then you pour the liquid tin in a bucket filled with cold water
And then you interpret your tin figure :)

In Finland we have a tradition to melt tin at new year's eve, to predict the coming year. We bought everything for melting the tin for our party on Saturday, but we never had time to melt it before going out. So me and five other friends decided to meet up and melt the tin yesterday. We figured it's better to do it late than never. We had a great time, laughed a lot, did and watched some crazy things.. :D

So when you have melted the tin, you have to read the figure to see what the next year will be like for you. My tin figure looks exactly like an elephant! So I guess that means I will be lucky this year. :) Or that I'm moving to Africa or Asia...? Haha.

2012

Here's what I was wearing on New Year's Eve. :) The perfect little black dress from Versace for H&M, my new Aldo shoes and silver & gold jewellery.

We had a lot of fun at the party with delicious food, good company and educating drinking games. ;) Then it took forever for us to take a tram and get to the center, so at midnight we were still in the tram!! :o And the worse part is that it wasn't the first time I was stuck in the tram at midnight on New Year's Eve... hahaa.. I'm always late, so why change my habits just because it's new year's.. :)

My new year's resolution was to start exercising, haven't done almost anything in a few years after having been a high level cyclist and then had to stop because of health problems. I always thought I've trained enough for the rest of my life, haha. But now I think the resting years are over and I'll try to exercise more. I've now been out running every day this year.. :)
