SWEDEN SIGHT-SEEING

Stockholm

These last few days have been quite eventful. First I took the ferry (alone..) to Stockholm on Tuesday evening. I mostly stayed in the cabin because I had an exam on Wednesday that I had to study for. I had this huge and very heavy bag with me, so it was not such a fun time to walk from the ferry to slussen and then take the subway to the center. But I survived! :D

After a 4 hour long exam I walked around a bit in the city, before I took the bus to Gothenburg (Göteborg).. I really don't know why I decided to take the 7-hour long night-bus!? I thought it would be kind of cozy, which it was at first, but when I wanted to sleep I wasn't so happy anymore.. But I got to see a bunch of cute cities on the way, which was nice. After a quite exhausting trip I'm finally here in cozy Gothenburg where I'm visiting two good friends of mine. :)

Okay, so I've been a bit absent from my blog lately. It's because blogger was getting on my nerves and also because I've been quite busy moving from my apartment and everything. Now I live in Sipoo, only temporarily! But I'm not complaining, it's really nice to be here in the middle of the forest and see the beautiful nature that is now covered in snow. And it takes about 30 minutes to get to Helsinki, so I think I'll survive. ;) I have a lot of plans and projects going on that I will tell you all about later.. :)

We got a visit from a little cute baby and her parents today, had a great dinner and earlier I skied 10 km, so now I'm ready to go to bed. :D Have a great Sunday night/ beginning of the week! And if you missed the last episode of Solsidan (Swedish TV show broadcasted on Yle Fem in Finland and found on their website) I highly recommend it! :D

GOODBYE APARTMENT

So, yesterday I packed all my things and moved from my cute apartment. I'm not good at goodbyes, at ending an era in your life.. Changes can be scary, but sometimes they just need to be done, for you not to get stuck doing the same safe thing all your life. Hmm, did that make any sense? :D Well, it is quite late and I'm tired from all the unpacking and from struggling to upload a picture. OMG, I hate blogger! So no picture today...

MOVING

Sorry, I've been a really lazy blogger... This week's been quite messy. I'm moving on Saturday from my apartment and I just have sooo much stuff.. My apartment is now full of boxes everywhere. I already packed most of my things, so now I can't find anything.

The weather here up north has turned in one day from nice autumn weather to snowstorm. I don't even want to leave the apartment. Today I had to though.. :P First I went to visit my cute niece and then to the launch party of the clothing brand Bikbok that arrived to Finland today! :D Some of the clothes are really cool and the prices are very affordable. I think I might go there tomorrow to check out the shop and maybe use my gift card.. :)

BLUR

These favorite shoes I wore today, thought the color was perfect for a pre-christmas party at work.. :) I've been doing so much this week, too much. And now I just feel like everything's blurry in my head (no, I'm not drunk). I feel a bit stressed even though all the things I have going on are fun. I have a nice project that I'm working on at the moment.. Will tell more later. And then there's always work, parties, friends and best of all my cute niece that came into my life last week. <3

PRINCESS OF CHINA

I looked trough my statement necklaces and bracelets that I keep in my favorite Aalto vase and found a few beautiful pieces I haven't worn in a long time. Many of these jewelries remind me of good times; sunbathing in Mauritius, spending a warm autumn day in Stockholm, getting a present from a loved one, having fun party nights in Paris.. Ah, memories. I'm a sucker for combining my things with good memories, that's why it's always so hard for me to sell anything at a flea market. Even an old ugly shirt I'll probably NEVER wear can be impossible to throw out of my wardrobe, because I've had such a great time in it.. Next month I'm going to sell some old stuff in Kaivarin Kanuuna, a great flea market in Helsinki, so I have to try stop being so sentimental about every single piece of clothing I own!

At the moment I can't stop listening to this song "Princess of China" by Coldplay and Rihanna, I really like it.. <3

AT THE POST OFFICE

I went down to the basement today and found this pair of Bianco boots that I had totally forgot about. They're so warm and comfy, never want to be without them again. :) Now I'm home after meeting up with my friend Yasmin (aka personal photographer ;D) in the center..
